The artist created a nano-sculpture by freezing a tiny drop of colloidal graphite (graphite nano-particles in a suspension) in Liquid Nitrogen at -196 deg C. The monochromatic scan has been painted digitally. The final image is printed on canvas with archival inks.

To obtain the structure the artist created a nano-sculpture by hydrolyzing a tiny drop of a chemical known as HMDS and coating the structure with Gold. The monochromatic scan has been painted digitally. The final image is printed on canvas with archival inks.
